▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - An antiviral formulation comprises metallic copper nanoparticles in an unoxidized form, graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide, and a bonding matrix material. USE - Antiviral filtering material used for preparation of antiviral face mask (claimed) and coating textiles e.g. surgical gowns, clothes and textiles for hotels. ADVANTAGE - The antiviral formulation has a stable antiviral activity while avoiding the leaching of the active components. It provides an antiviral filtering material with a good breathability and a good antiviral action. It avoids or at least limits leaching after wash. The method for preparing the formulation is scalable and inexpensive. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) an antiviral filtering material, which comprises a layer of textile and at least layer of an antiviral formulation comprising metallic copper nanoparticles in an unoxidized form, graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide, and a bonding matrix into which both metallic copper nanoparticles and or reduced graphene oxide are anchored; (2) preparation of an antiviral formulation, which involves preparing in alkaline conditions an aqueous dispersion of metallic copper nanoparticles and stabilized graphene oxide or stabilized reduced graphene oxide, and mixing the aqueous dispersion with a bonding matrix material under alkaline conditions so as to obtain an antiviral formulation; (3) preparation of an antiviral filtering material, which involves preparing an antiviral formulation, supplying a textile and coating textile with the antiviral formulation, and curing the coated textile to obtain an antiviral filtering material; and (4) an antiviral face mask made from an antiviral filtering material comprising a layer of textile coated with an antiviral formulation.
