NOVELTY - Foldable display device comprises a foldable display including non-folding areas on both sides of a folding area, and a support substrate (120) having an opening pattern corresponding to the folding area; a heat dissipation substrate (130) disposed on the support substrate and including copper or its alloy; a heat dissipation coating layer (140) disposed on at least one surface of the heat dissipation substrate, and comprising a base resin (142) and a thermally conductive filler (144); and a display panel positioned on the heat dissipation substrate. The base resin is polyimide or polyamide-based polymer compound. The thermally conductive filler includes graphite, graphene, carbon nanotubes (CNT) or carbon nanofibers (CNF). The support substrate is made of stainless steel. A shock-absorbing layer (160) is disposed under the support substrate, comprising silicone, silicone foam, acrylic foam, polypropylene foam, polyurethane (PU), polyurethane foam or thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). USE - The foldable display device is useful in personal portable devices, computer monitors, TVs, and mobile phones including organic light emitting displays (OLEDs) emitting light by themselves, and liquid crystal displays (LCDs) requiring a separate light source, and in next-generation display device and flexible display device. ADVANTAGE - The foldable display device has thin thickness and improved folding performance by reducing radius of curvature of folding area and improved heat dissipation function so that heat generated from a display panel is easily dissipated, reduced volume and weight while having a large display area is in progress, and high durable, unbreakable, bendable without breaking, rollable, space utilization, interior design, improved rigidity and improved impact resistance of structure supporting display panel; is utilized in the field of display devices that process and displays a large amount of information has developed rapidly, and displays an image even when bent or folded like paper.
