NOVELTY - Forming a complex comprises forming quantum dot, forming graphene, forming a compound with the quantum dot and the graphene, evaporating the quantum dot and the graphene with diazonium salt, and reducing the diazonium salt from the mixture for forming aryl radical and then covalently bonding. USE - The method is useful for forming a quantum dot and graphene complex that is useful in a dye-sensitized solar cell (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The formed complex ameliorates photocurrent and conversion efficiency of the dye-sensitized solar cell. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a dye-sensitized solar cell comprising a photoelectrode provided with an electrolyte solution layer, a bottom electrode arranged on the photoelectrode and having a lower plate, and a top electrode connected with the bottom electrode and having an upper plate, where the top and bottom electrodes include the complex.
