NOVELTY - Preparing doped perforated graphene based on waste battery cathode graphite comprises (a) using waste lithium-ion battery cathode graphite as a carbon source, and strong oxidizing acid as etchant, and preparing the doped perforated graphene oxide by the improved Hummers method, achieving controllable hole drilling of graphene oxide by controlling the concentration of strong acid and corrosion time, using the heteroatoms i.e. manganese and fluorine contained in the cathode graphite of the waste lithium-ion battery to realize the preparation of doped perforated graphene oxide, (b) adding the doped perforated graphene oxide into a tube furnace and rapidly heating to 1000℃ under inert atmosphere, and reducing graphene oxide to obtain doped perforated graphene. The graphite is graphite material in waste battery. The strong oxidizing acid comprises concentrated nitric acid, vitriol oil, hypochlorous acid, chlorous acid, perchloric acid, nitrous acid, permanganic acid and/or other acids. USE - Preparation method of doped perforated graphene based on waste battery cathode graphite is useful in energy storage, catalysis, biological medicine and other fields (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has advantages of simple operation, low cost and high yield.
