NOVELTY - A graphene-containing copper-based alloy blank comprises 70-97 wt.% copper element, 1-1.5 wt.% graphene, and 2-30 wt.% silver element. The copper-based alloy blank is prepared by taking pure copper ingot, pure silver ingot, pure copper powder and graphene powder as raw materials, mixing pure copper ingot and pure silver ingot, heating at 1050 degrees C, melting into an alloy melt, maintaining the temperature for 10 minutes, protecting the melt surface using argon gas, adding pure copper powder and graphene powder, fully stirring the alloy melt for 1-5 minutes by a mechanical stirring method, reducing the alloy melt temperature to 900 degrees C, maintaining the temperature for 10 minutes, rapidly solidifying the alloy melt to form a melt of semi-solid mixed structure, casting the melt of semi-solid mixed structure into a grinding tool cooled by circulating water to prepare cast ingot, and cooling to room temperature at a rate of 50-200 degrees C/minute.
