▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Surface texture comprises three-dimensional structure, where cross-section includes first serration and second serration; first serration has first peak with height measured from base of three-dimensional structure to top of first serration; valley is formed in between first serration and second serration, where valley has length measured from base of first serration to base of second serration; and first serration has vertex angle which forms first peak; and coating which covers at least portion of valley, where valley is designed to remain free of frost. USE - Surface texture for use in aircraft wings, municipal power lines, satellite lines, satellite dishes, optical applications, photography, microscopy, autonomous aerial devices, vehicles (e.g., drones), sensors (from infrared to visible light regimes), central processor unit (CPU) fabrication, etc. ADVANTAGE - The surface texture helps in increasing heat transfer coefficient for low temperature heat exchangers, which prevents frost buildup; promote anti-frost/ice region to promote region without any material deposition (i.e. silicon, lithium); focused diffusion flux and difference in saturation vapor pressure of different phases; reduces optical diffraction associated with frost crystals and reduces mechanical stresses caused by shear and excessive weight. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for forming surface texture, which involves: (a) forming three-dimensional structure such that cross-section of three-dimensional structure includes first serration and second serration; (b) forming first serration to have first peak with first height measured from base of three-dimensional structure to top of first serration; (c) forming second serration to have second peak with second height measured from base of three-dimensional structure to top of second serration; (d) forming valley in between first serration and second serration, where valley has length measured from base of first serration to base of second serration; (e) forming first serration to have first vertex angle which forms first peak and forming second serration to have second vertex angle which forms second peak; and (f) applying coating to cover at least portion of valley such that valley remains free of frost.
