NOVELTY - Preparing carbon cloth comprises (a) growing vertical graphene on the carbon cloth by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) reaction to obtain first carbon cloth, (b) dispersing 2-methylimidazole cobalt nitrate uniformly in water respectively to obtain the first solution, (c) adding the first carbon cloth into the first solution, mixing and stirring, reacting for 4-5 hours to grow cobalt-based metal-organic framework (Co-MOF), washing and drying to obtain a second carbon cloth, and (d) annealing the second carbon cloth under the protection of argon. USE - The carbon cloth is useful in sodium ion energy storage device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The storage device has good electrochemical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) carbon cloth prepared by the above mentioned method; and (2) sodium ion energy storage device, comprising the carbon cloth.
