NOVELTY - A graphene and molybdenum oxide nanocomposite material involves preparing graphene by chemical method, calcining ammonium molybdate at 500 degrees C for 4 hours under air, obtaining molybdenum trioxide particles, mixing graphene with molybdenum trioxide particles in a molar ratio of 1:2-2:1, and carrying out ball milling in ball material in ratio of 15-1. USE - Graphene and molybdenum oxide nanocomposite material is used for preparing lithium ion battery negative electrode. ADVANTAGE - The graphene and molybdenum oxide nanocomposite material has favorable lithium storage and reversible embedding stripping characteristics. The lithium ion battery negative material has high cycling characteristic and specific capacity.
