NOVELTY - Preparing sodium chloride modified graphene net coated beta -iron oxide lithium ion battery cathode material comprises e.g. (i) dispersing commercially available graphene oxide in deionized water to obtain graphene oxide suspension A, (ii) adding analytically pure iron(III) chloride hexahydrate and sodium chloride into deionized water, adding mixed solution into suspension A, (iii) pouring suspension B into homogeneous hydrothermal reactor, performing hydrothermal reaction at 100-150 degrees C, naturally cooling, (iv) separately washing product C with water to obtain product D, and (v) freeze drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing sodium chloride modified graphene net coated beta -iron oxide lithium ion battery cathode material. ADVANTAGE - The material has excellent conductivity, stable cell structure and large specific surface area; and increases capacity and cycling stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing sodium chloride modified graphene net coated beta -iron oxide lithium ion battery cathode material comprises (i) dispersing commercially available graphene oxide in 25-40 ml deionized water to obtain graphene oxide suspension A having concentration of 1-5 mg/ml, (ii) adding analytically pure iron(III) chloride hexahydrate and sodium chloride into 10-25 ml deionized water, stirring to dissolve to obtain mixed solution, then adding mixed solution into suspension A, configuring as iron salt, sodium salt and graphene oxide suspension B, where concentration of iron salt is 0.2-0.5 mol/l and concentration of sodium salt is 2/3 of iron salt concentration, (iii) pouring suspension B into homogeneous hydrothermal reactor, sealing reactor, performing hydrothermal reaction in homogeneous hydrothermal reaction apparatus at 100-150 degrees C and naturally cooling product C to room temperature, (iv) separately washing product C with water, then alcohol washing and dispersing washed product in water to obtain product D, and (v) freeze drying product D to obtain final product.
