NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene quantum dot enhanced para-aramid fiber involves adding 10-20 pts. wt. aramid resin to dimethyl sulfoxide anion solution, stirring at 40 degrees C for 2-6 hours, cooling, adding 3-10 pts. wt. olefin, stirring at 30 degrees C for 12-48 hours, adding solvent, washing, drying to obtain olefin grafted aramid resin, adding 10-20 pts. wt. obtained resin to 0.1-1 pt. wt. vinyl functionalized graphene quantum dots, heating to 80-90 degrees C for 12-24 hours, washing, drying, adding 75-90 pts. wt. concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring, spinning, washing, heating and winding. USE - Manufacture of graphene quantum dot enhanced para-aramid fiber for aerospace components, tire, armor, communication cables and reinforced composite materials. ADVANTAGE - The graphene quantum dot enhanced para-aramid fiber having excellent mechanical strength is manufactured. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of graphene quantum dot enhanced para-aramid fiber involves adding 10-20 pts. wt. aramid resin to dimethyl sulfoxide anion solution, stirring at 40 degrees C for 2-6 hours, cooling to room temperature, adding 3-10 pts. wt. olefin, stirring at 30 degrees C for 12-48 hours, adding mixed solvent of water, ethanol and acetone in volume ratio of 1:1:1, washing with ethanol, drying to obtain olefin grafted aramid resin, adding 10-20 pts. wt. obtained resin to 0.1-1 pt. wt. vinyl functionalized graphene quantum dots formed by mixing 100-1000 pts. wt. graphene quantum dot, 1000-10000 ethylenediamine, 10-100 pts. wt. 4-dimethylaminopyridine and 10-100 pts. wt. 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethyl carbodiimide hydrochloride, dispersing, adding 10-100 pts. wt. 4-dimethylaminopyridine, 10-100 pts. wt. 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride and 1000 pts. wt. acrylic acid, dispersing and drying, heating to 80-90 degrees C under nitrogen atmosphere for 12-24 hours, washing with ethanol, drying, adding 75-90 pts. wt. 99% concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring, spinning with air-gap stretching ratio of 3-10, washing, heating and winding.
