NOVELTY - A cadmium selenide quantum dot/graphene/titanium dioxide composite material comprises cadmium selenide quantum dots, graphene and titanium dioxide. The titanium dioxide is nanosheet formed on graphene layer. The cadmium selenide quantum dots are distributed on graphene/titanium dioxide composite material. The titanium dioxide nanosheet has thickness of 15-30 nm and length of 50-100 nm. The graphene has length of 500-2000 nm. The cadmium selenide quantum dot has diameter of 2.1-3.5 nm. USE - Cadmium selenide quantum dot/graphene/titanium dioxide composite material used for photocatalytic degradation and sterilization (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has simple preparation, convenient operation and low cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the cadmium selenide quantum dot/graphene/titanium dioxide composite material comprising preparing cadmium selenide quantum dots and titanium dioxide nanosheet, adding graphene to mixed solvent of ethanol and deionized water at volume ratio of 1: (1-2), ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene dispersion with concentration of (0.067-0.1) mg/mL, adding titanium dioxide nanosheet, uniformly stirring, transferring to PTFE reaction kettle, hydrothermally reacting at 100-180 degrees C for 2-4 hours, cooling to room temperature, taking out, washing, drying, adding cadmium selenide quantum dots, dispersing, adjusting pH to 5 9, stirring and reacting for 10-15 hours, separating, washing and drying.
