▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Catalytic preparation of alkoxymethyl furfural using 5-hydroxymethyl furfural, involves carrying out etherification reaction of 5-hydroxymethyl furfural and t-butyl alcohol in the presence of a proton acid catalyst. The proton acid catalyst is a functionalized graphene catalyst comprising graphene as carrier and an acidic functional group having catalytic activity connected to graphene. USE - Catalytic preparation of alkoxymethyl furfural using 5-hydroxymethyl furfural (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method uses functionalized graphene catalyst containing sulfonic acid group, which provides the benefits of sulfonic acid group without using p-toluenesulfonic acid. The method enables preparation of alkoxymethyl furfural with high reaction activity and high yield, without using organic solvent, such as toluene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of functionalized graphene catalyst, which involves dispersing graphene containing catalytically active acidic organic functional group and diazo compound in ethanol such that the mass ratio of graphene and diazo compound is 1:10-90 and ratio of diazo compound and ethanol is 1 g:10-15 ml, stirring at 0-5 degrees C in an ice water bath, adding 50 wt.% hypophosphorous acid solution such that the ratio of diazo compound and hypophosphorous acid solution is 1 g:20-30 ml, filtering the reaction product, washing with dilute hydrochloric acid solution and water until neutral, and freeze-drying.
