NOVELTY - A nitrogen-substituted graphene comprises nitrogen-substituted atom in graphene in an amount of 0.01-10 mass%. USE - Nitrogen-substituted graphene for use in an energy storage device. ADVANTAGE - The graphene has better electrical conductivity and high stability, and is prepared in a simple and inexpensive manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing nitrogen-substituted graphene, which involves treating graphene and nitrogen at 300-1000 degrees C under inert atmosphere.
