NOVELTY - A polyamide or blend/graphene composite wire comprises 0.08-0.5 wt.% graphene. The tensile strength of the composite wire is improved by more than 50% with respect to pure base wire. The breaking elongation rate of the composite wire is reduced to less than 20%. USE - Polyamide or blend/graphene composite wire (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polyamide or blend/graphene composite wire can be prepared with high quality, by simple process. By adjusting the graphene content, the maximum tensile strength of the composite wire can be increased by more than 100%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of polyamide or blend/graphene composite wire, which involves mixing granulated prepolymer with nylon-6 or polypropylene binary blend, melting, extruding and drawing. The granulated prepolymer is prepared by mixing aminated graphene oxide and nylon-6, polymerizing and granulating.
