ADVANTAGE - The graphene quantum dot/polyphenylene sulfide composite material can significantly improve hydrophobicity and viscosity of epoxy resins, and achieve high-performance protection for metal surfaces. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for a using graphene quantum dot/polyphenylene sulfide composite material as an antiseptic, which involves: (A) mixing polyphenylene sulfide and graphene quantum dots in an organic solvent N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone under stirring for 3.5-4 hours at 220-225 degrees C; (B) heating to 270~275 degrees C under stirring for 1.5-2 hours to obtain gray precipitate; (C) cooling at room temperature; (D) filtering, washing repeatedly with ethanol and acetone; and (E) freeze-drying to obtain the graphene quantum dot/polyphenylene sulfide composite material.
