NOVELTY - A composition comprises graphite oxide and an infrared absorbing compound. USE - Composition used in preparation of graphene or graphene-like structure (claimed). Can also be used for lithographic printing plate, flexible electronic material and conductive material. ADVANTAGE - The composition enables formation of chemical inert, strong, electroconductive and hydrophobic graphene or graphene-like structure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene or graphene-like structure, which involves exposing the composition with heat and/or infrared light.
