▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - The method involves placing graphene onto a porous metal foam substrate i.e. nickel or copper foam substrate by growing carbon nanotubes on a surface of the porous metal foam substrate before compressing the porous metal foam substrate and synthesizing carbon nanotubes within voids of the porous metal foam substrate. The porous metal foam substrate is compressed with graphene applied to form a graphene-metal composite, where porosity of the porous metal foam substrate is 70%, and graphene is replaced with stanene to form a stanene-metal composite. USE - Method for manufacturing a graphene-metal composite. Uses include but are not limited to batteries for electric drive automobiles, filter material for water filters, bendable LCD screens for consumer electronics or nanoelectronics and light weight body panels for commercial aircrafts. ADVANTAGE - The method enables integrating stanene into computer chips at critical junctions to improve speed and energy efficiency.
