NOVELTY - A negative electrode carbon material consists of a graphene oxide layer, in which a hole is formed in the plane. The graphene oxide layer contains a graphite oxide-type material. USE - Negative electrode carbon material is used for negative electrode of lithium secondary battery (all claimed) used for electronic device e.g. notebook computer and mobile telephone, and electric vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The negative electrode carbon material provides lithium secondary battery with improved input characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) negative electrode, which contains the negative electrode carbon material; and (2) lithium secondary battery, which consists of the negative electrode.
