NOVELTY - A heat conducting phase change gel material comprises 10-100 pts. wt. heat-conducting filler, 10-100 pts. wt. phase change material, 100 pts. wt. polysiloxane, 0.001-10 pts. wt. crosslinking inhibitor, and 0.0001-0.01 pt. wt. catalyst. USE - The heat conducting phase change gel material is used for battery module. ADVANTAGE - The phase change material in heat-conducting phase change gel is fixed in three-dimensional crosslinked network of organic silicon, so even if the phase change material is heated to liquid state, it will not be separated out. The gel has a certain elasticity after curing at room temperature, has protection and damping effect, improves heat conducting performance and heat transfer efficiency, and provides battery heat management with liquid cooling system. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of heat-conducting phase change gel material comprising stirring and mixing heat-conducting filler, phase change material and polysiloxane, adding catalyst and crosslinking inhibitor, stirring and mixing, and curing; and (2) a battery module comprising battery, liquid cooling system, and heat-conducting phase change gel material set between liquid cooling pipeline of liquid cooling system and battery.
