NOVELTY - The generator has a sequentially arranged laser pump source (1), optical coupling system lens group (2), laser input mirror (3), laser gain medium (4), first cavity mirror (5), second cavity reflection mirror (6), resonant cavity, passive mode locking element (7) and laser output mirror (8). The laser signal from the laser pump source enters the laser gain medium through the optical coupling system lens group. The laser gain medium generates laser oscillation under the action of the resonant cavity composed of the laser input mirror, the resonant cavity mirror, the resonant cavity mirror and the laser output mirror. The laser is modulated by the passive mode locking element in the resonant cavity. The ultra-short pulse laser is output through the laser output mirror. The passive mode-locking element is a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror, graphene, carbon nanotube, black phosphorus, topological insulator, transition metal chalcogenide. USE - Ultrashort pulse generator based on mixed crystal erbium-doped laser ceramics used in biomedical, optical communication, laser radar, remote sensing detection field and industrial micro-processing fields. ADVANTAGE - The device realizes high efficiency, high power, 1.6 microns ultra-short pulse laser operation with high beam quality, and obtains ultra- short pulse laser with different central wavelength. The device has high pumping efficiency, strong operability, and easy to realize.
