NOVELTY - Preparing carbon-coated lithium iron phosphate complex material comprises (i) synthesizing nanometer lithium iron phosphate material by hydrothermal method, and (ii) mixing the nano-lithium iron phosphate material obtained in step (i) with the carbon source, dry grinding, and heating to obtain carbon-coated lithium iron phosphate complex material, where the carbon source comprises an organic carbon source and an inorganic carbon source, and the mass ratio of the nano-lithium iron phosphate material, the organic carbon source and the inorganic carbon source is 100:0.1-10:0.001-2. USE - The method is useful for preparing carbon-coated lithium iron phosphate complex material, which is useful for preparing the anode of lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is economical; reduces the amount of carbon used when nano-scale lithium iron phosphate is coated with carbon materials by combining inorganic carbon sources and organic carbon sources; reduces the technological process; and does not need to use an organic solvent in dry grinding method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the carbon-coated lithium iron phosphate complex material prepared by above mentioned method.
