NOVELTY - A stretchable optoelectronic device consists of a substrate (S10) that comprises an elastomeric polymer and is stretchable, and an optoelectronic device portion on the substrate. The optoelectronic device component (D10a) comprises a graphene layer and an active layer containing quantum dots, light-emitting nanomaterials, and a transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC), and has a stretchable wavy structure. USE - Stretchable optoelectronic device used in sensor system of mobile equipment device e.g. application processor, drive integrated circuit, communication chip connected to antenna (all claimed), controller, non-volatile memory device such as flash memory, phase-change random access memory (RAM), magneto-resistive RAM, resistive RAM, and ferro-electric RAM. Uses include but are not limited to next-generation mobile display, stretchable surface light-emitting apparatus, transparent display attached to curved glass surface, wearable display, patch-type light source for bio-sensing, PPG sensor, and light source that is used in surgical gloves. ADVANTAGE - The device operates without deteriorating characteristics and shows no decrease in efficiency even after repeated stretching and/or folding operations. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) apparatus, which consists of the stretchable optoelectronic device and a circuit connected to the stretchable optoelectronic device; (2) sensor system, which has the apparatus; and (3) manufacture of the stretchable optoelectronic device.
