NOVELTY - Synthetic mica powder comprises 40-52 pts. wt. mica powder, 26-32 pts. wt. kaolin, 9-12 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 2.5-7 pts. wt. aluminum hydroxide, 4.5-5.5 pts. wt. brominated epoxy resin, 5-10.5 pts. wt. tricresyl phosphate, 8-14 pts. wt. iron oxide, 6-12 pts. wt. barium sulfate, 6-10 pts. wt. silicone powder, 80-100 pts. wt. water, 6-10 pts. wt. antioxidants and 8-15 pts. wt. binder. USE - As a synthetic mica powder. ADVANTAGE - The powder has excellent flame retardancy and stable conductive performance, and is not oxidize easily, prepared by simple method and produced at high productivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the synthetic mica powder involving (a) adding the mica powder, kaolin, graphene oxide and barium sulfate to a grinder according to the specific gravity and grinding for 30-45 minutes to obtain a mixture (I), (b) adding aluminum hydroxide, brominated epoxy resin and silicone powder to a grinder according to the specific gravity and grinding for 20-35 minutes to obtain a mixture (II), (c) adding the mixtures (I) and (II) into a high-speed mixer and mixing at a speed of 200-300 rpm to obtain a spare mixture, (d) adding the spare mixture to water, adding antioxidant, binder and tricresyl phosphate, and continuously stirring the mixture for 10-15 minutes to obtain a mixture (III), (e) adding the mixture (III) to a dryer and drying at 80-85 degrees C for 1.5-2.5 hours to obtain a spare mixture (IV) and (e) adding the standby mixture (IV) to a grinder and adding iron oxide for fine grinding for 30-50 minutes to obtain the product.
