NOVELTY - Invention relates to the field of creating optically transparent luminescent nanostructured ceramic materials based on aluminum-magnesium spinel (MgAl2O4) and can be used as a functional material for photonic devices, optoelectronics and laser technology. An optically transparent luminescent nanostructured ceramic material based on a matrix of aluminum-magnesium spinel containing aluminum oxide is proposed, characterized in that the matrix of aluminum-magnesium spinel additionally contains carbon in the form of graphene plates 3-10 nm in size with the following mass ratio of components, %: aluminum-magnesium spinel (MgAl2O4) 99.3-99.49; aluminum oxide (Al2O3) 0.4-0.5; carbon (C) 0.01-0.3. Aluminum-magnesium spinel and aluminum oxide are in a nanostructured state with a coherent scattering region of 5–40 nm. USE - Optoelectronics and laser technology. ADVANTAGE - Material has a tunable photoluminescent range, which will make it possible to use it in LED devices, plasma display panels, tunable detectors of the UV-visible spectral range, light matrix indicators. 1 cl, 5 dwg, 1 tbl, 2 ex
