▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The method involves positioning a set of graphene sensors (310) in a bondline (300) of a composite structure (304), where the set of graphene sensors is formed of graphene that is doped with noble gas. The composite structure is cured. Strength of the bondline of the composite structure is determined using measurements from the set of graphene sensors, where the measurements are taken during the curing of the composite structure. The set of graphene sensors is positioned into a matrix arrangement in the bondline. A set of graphene lines is positioned in the bondline to electrically connect the set of graphene sensors to a computer system. USE - Method for determining strength or an integrity of a bondline of a composite structure. ADVANTAGE - The method enables using bonded composite structure that can result in significant cost savings in airplane manufacturing by eliminating fasteners in a reliable manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a bond-line characteristic determination system. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows an exploded perspective view of a bondline of a composite structure.
