NOVELTY - Preparation of functionalized graphene structure involves preparing (S100) a substrate having a graphene layer, providing (S200) an organic linker on the graphene layer, forming an organic linker layer, providing (S300) a dopant material containing metal on the organic linker layer, and forming dopant layer. The organic linker layer and the dopant layer are formed in-situ. USE - Preparation of functionalized graphene structure. Uses include but are not limited to display, secondary battery, solar cell, motor vehicle, and lamp. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of functionalized graphene structure with excellent stability and electrical characteristics, controlled thickness of dopant layer, and reduced generation of deformation, charge carrier mobility of graphene layer, and surface roughness of dopant layer.
