DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: preparing fast filling artificial graphite cathode active material comprising (1) mixing coke raw material primary particles and soft carbon raw material A and granulating to obtain secondary particles, the secondary particles are thermally modified in an atmosphere containing gaseous water to obtain modified materials, the temperature of thermal modification is 300-600℃, (2) coating the modified material and graphene oxide obtained in step (1) to obtain a primary coating precursor, (3) pre-carbonizing and graphitizing the primary coating precursor, and placing it in an aqueous solution while it is hot for rapid cooling to obtain a graphitized material, (4) mixing and molding the graphitized material, catalytic promoter and carbon raw material B, and performing two-stage carbonization treatment to obtain the fast-charging artificial graphite cathode active material, the two-stage carbonization process includes a first-stage carbonization process under a protective atmosphere and a second-stage carbonization process under vacuum; cathode material for a lithium secondary battery, comprising a cathode active material, a conductive agent and a binding agent, the fast-filling artificial graphite is included in the cathode active material, preferably, the content of the cathode active material is 70-95 wt.%, preferably, the lithium secondary battery is a lithium ion battery; lithium secondary battery cathode comprising a current collector and a cathode material; and lithium secondary battery comprises the cathode.
