NOVELTY - An optical cable filling paste comprises a base oil, an oil separation inhibitor, a modified titanium dioxide hollow microspheres, a thermally expanded graphene oxide, an antioxidant, a thickener, a superabsorbent and a water blocking agent. The modified titanium dioxide hollow microspheres include titanium dioxide hollow microspheres, and the surface of the titanium dioxide hollow microspheres is coated with barium sulfate. USE - Filling paste used for optical cables. ADVANTAGE - The optical cable filling paste has excellent moisture-proof properties, cushioning properties, weather resistance and flame retardance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the optical cable filling paste, which involves adding the oil separation inhibitor to the base oil and heating and stirring for 3-6 hours to obtain a mixed liquid, equally dividing the mixed liquid into mixed liquid (L1) and mixed liquid (L2), adding the modified titanium dioxide hollow microspheres to the mixed liquid (L1) and heating to 120-200 degrees C and stirring for 0.8-1.5 hours to obtain a dispersion (D1), adding thermally expandable graphene oxide to the mixed solution (L2) and heating to 120-200 degrees C and stirring for 0.8-1.5 hours to obtain dispersion (D2), mixing dispersion liquids (D1) and (D2), adding antioxidant, heating to 180-200 degrees C and stirring for 0.8-1.5 hours, then adding superabsorbent and the water blocking agent for homogeneous grinding, and then adding the thickener to continue the homogeneous grinding, and vacuum degassing to obtain optical cable filling paste.
