NOVELTY - Preparation of hydrophobic graphene sponge comprises adding graphite oxide in solvent, ultrasonically dispersing to form 3-10 mg/ml graphene oxide dispersion liquid, freeze-drying at - 10 to - 76 degrees C under nitrogen or argon gas protection, carrying out high-temperature reduction treatment, annealing at 500-1000 degrees C for not greater than 5 minutes, naturally cooling, modifying high-temperature carbon reduction product by gold nanoparticle, high-temperature reducing for 2-3 seconds to obtain super-hydrophobic aqueous superoleophilic graphene sponge. USE - Method for preparing hydrophobic graphene sponge (claimed) used for environmental protection. ADVANTAGE - The method improves adsorption capacity of graphene. The graphene sponge has low density.
