▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A perpendicular magnetic recording medium (31) is formed by laminating a perpendicular magnetic layer (23), a protective layer (24) and a lubricant layer (25) on a nonmagnetic substrate (20). The protective layer comprises a laminate of graphene and/or graphene and amorphous carbon. The protective layer and lubricant layer are in contact with each other. The interface between the protective layer and the lubricant layer comprises nitrogen. USE - Perpendicular magnetic recording medium is used for magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus (claimed) e.g. hard-disk drive. ADVANTAGE - The perpendicular magnetic recording medium is thin, and has high surface smoothness, and excellent adhesiveness between protective layer and lubricant layer, abrasion resistance, reliability, slide-resistance, corrosion resistance and water-repellent property, and suppressed damage, and provides magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus with high recording density.
