NOVELTY - Preparation of hybrid spinel/graphene electrode material involves dispersing graphene oxide in solvent, adding transition metal salt to solvent, stirring, preparing solution, adding surfactant, mixing, dripping resultant solution in the prepared graphene oxide dispersion, stirring, obtaining homogeneous solution, adjusting pH to 11, stirring for 3 hours, providing resultant homogeneous solution in hydrothermal reactor, subjecting to solvothermal reaction, cooling to room temperature, filtering, washing, and drying. USE - Preparation of hybrid spinel/graphene electrode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical preparation of hybrid spinel/graphene electrode material having excellent electrochemical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of hybrid spinel/graphene electrode material involves dispersing graphene oxide in solvent, adding transition metal salt to solvent, stirring, preparing solution, adding surfactant, mixing, dripping resultant solution in the prepared graphene oxide dispersion, stirring, obtaining homogeneous solution, adjusting pH to 11, stirring for 3 hours, providing resultant homogeneous solution in hydrothermal reactor, subjecting to solvothermal reaction, cooling to room temperature, filtering, washing, and drying. The electrode material includes composite transition metal oxide-reduced graphene oxide (AxMmN'nO4-RGO, where A, M and N' are transition metals, x is more than 0 and less than 1, n is more than 0 and less than 2, and m is more than 0 and less than 1 (when x+m is 1), or more than 0 and less than 2 (when m+n is 2)).
