NOVELTY - A manganese oxide-graphene composite electrode material preparation method involves adding concentrated sulfuric acid and graphite powder, stirring under ice bath, adding potassium nitrate and potassium permanganate, stirring under ice bath condition, and adding water to obtain graphite oxide stock solution. The obtained graphite oxide solution is added to water and potassium permanganate solution, followed by treating mixture under water bath, washing to obtain manganese oxide-graphene compound, adding ammonia water and glucose, stirring, washing, and drying to obtain a finished product. USE - Method for preparing manganese oxide-graphene composite electrode material that is utilized for manufacturing supercapacitor. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing manganese oxide-graphene composite electrode material in an eco-friendly and inexpensive manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A manganese oxide-graphene composite electrode material preparation method involves adding concentrated sulfuric acid and graphite powder into a beaker, stirring under ice bath at 0-20 degrees C for 10 minutes, adding potassium nitrate, stirring for 2-3 hours, slowly adding potassium permanganate, stirring under ice bath condition for 2-3 hours, maintaining temperature at 35 degrees C, adding de-ionized water and stirring to obtain graphite oxide stock solution. The obtained graphite oxide solution is added to de-ionized water and potassium permanganate solution, followed by treating mixture under water bath, stirring for 2-4 hours, centrifuging, washing to obtain manganese oxide-graphene compound. The obtained compound is diluted into graphite oxide, followed by adding ammonia water and glucose, stirring at 95 degrees C for 50-100 minutes, treating under water bath for 1 hour, and washing and drying to obtain finished product.
