NOVELTY - Adsorbent comprises 20-35 pts. wt. graphene, 30-50 pts. wt. limestone, 9-12 pts. wt. potassium permanganate solution, 15-25 pts. wt. ethanol solution and 18-25 pts. wt. copper nitrate solution. USE - The adsorbent is useful for desulfurizing crude oil (claimed); and removing sulfur from refinery crude oil and dry gas, liquefied gas and oil gas, and natural gas. ADVANTAGE - The adsorbent has simple preparation process; and improves desulfurization rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the adsorbent, comprising (i) soaking graphene in potassium permanganate solution, subjecting to oxidation treatment, and drying; (ii) crushing limestone into fine particles, and mixing with graphene oxide obtained in step (i) to obtain mixed particles; (iii) adding the mixed particles into copper nitrate solution, stirring for 20-30 minutes, subjecting to liquid drying process at 130 degrees C for 1-3 hours; and (iv) adding the mixed particles obtained in step (iii) after drying process into ethanol solution, soaking for 1-2 hours, drying at 130 degrees C for 1-3 hours, and calcining at 400-480 degrees C for 1-5 hours under the protection of nitrogen.
