NOVELTY - Starch adhesive comprises 100 parts mass starch, 400-600 parts mass water, 10-25 parts mass graphene oxide, 30-50 parts mass silver nitrate, 1-5 parts mass flocculant, 2-6 parts mass oxidant and 8-10 parts mass alkali. USE - As starch adhesive. ADVANTAGE - The adhesive has improved antibacterial function, flexibility, resilience, plasticity and work performance and can maintain adhesion in a humid environment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the adhesive involving (i) dissolving starch in water, adding the oxidant, heating and uniformly mixing to obtain oxidized starch liquid, (ii) adding the alkali to the oxidized starch liquid, uniformly stirring and reacting to obtain a gelatinized starch liquid and (iii) adding graphene oxide to the gelatinized starch solution, ultrasonically dispersing, adding silver nitrate for reaction, adding the flocculant after the reaction is completed and uniformly stirring to obtain the adhesive.
