NOVELTY - Preparation of surface-modified diamond powder involves mixing diamond-graphene solid resultant with 100 ml ultrapure water, dispersing, adding chloroacetic acid and sodium hydroxide in molar ratio of 1:20-1:30, stirring at 70-80 degrees C for 2-3 hours, washing using ultrapure water, dialyzing, freeze-drying, obtaining diamond-carboxylated graphene, mixing resultant with polyethyleneimine solution, stirring, centrifuging, adding polyacrylic acid, reacting, stirring, centrifuging and washing self-assembled product. USE - Preparation of surface-modified diamond powder (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of surface-modified diamond powder having high hardness and density, increased adsorption performance and large specific surface area. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of surface-modified diamond powder involves adding diamond powder having particle size of 1-2 mu m to water bath containing ammonia, adding alcohol, processing, drying, sintering at 1500 degrees C for 15 minutes, obtaining graphitized diamond powder, adding 0.3 g potassium nitrate to 10 ml concentrated sulfuric acid having concentration of 98%, adding 0.2 g graphitized diamond powder and 1.6 g potassium permanganate, adding potassium nitrate and potassium permanganate, stirring for 0.5 hour, reacting at 35 degrees C for 5 hours, heat-preserving in oil bath at 80 degrees C for 30 minutes, cooling to room temperature, adding ultra-pure water and hydrogen peroxide, stirring, separating supernatant, dispersing in water, dialyzing, freeze-drying, obtaining diamond-graphene solid, mixing resultant with 100 ml ultrapure water, dispersing, adding chloroacetic acid and sodium hydroxide in molar ratio of 1:20-1:30, stirring at 70-80 degrees C for 2-3 hours, washing using ultrapure water, dialyzing, freeze-drying, obtaining diamond-carboxylated graphene, mixing resultant with polyethyleneimine solution, stirring, centrifuging, adding polyacrylic acid, reacting, stirring, centrifuging and washing self-assembled product.
