NOVELTY - A damping paint comprises 28-30 pts. wt. graphene aqueous acrylate emulsion or 28-30 pts. wt. aqueous styrene-acrylic emulsion and 0.1-0.3 pts. wt. graphene powder, 28-30 pts. wt. functional filler, 14-15 pts. wt. flame retardant, 1.5-2 pts. wt. film-forming aid, 0.6-0.8 pts. wt. coupling agent, 0.6-0.8 pts. wt. wetting agent, 0.4-0.6 pts. wt. defoamer, 0.4-0.6 pts. wt. antifungal agent, 0.2-0.3 pts. wt. pH adjuster, 0.8-1 pts. wt. thickener, and 18-20 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - Damping paint. ADVANTAGE - The paint has excellent damping performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of damping paint, which involves (1) adding 18-20 pts. wt. deionized water, 28-30 pts. wt. functional filler, stirring at 300-500 rpm for 10-20 minutes, adding 14-15 pts. wt. flame retardant, stirring at 300-500 rpm for 20-30 minutes, adding 0.6-0.8 pts. wt. coupling agent, stirring at 500-800 rpm for 30-40 minutes to obtain aqueous solution (A), (2) adding 28-30 pts. wt. graphene-modified aqueous acrylate emulsion or adding 28-30 pts. wt. aqueous styrene-acrylic emulsion and 0.1-0.3 pts. wt. graphene powder, adding wetting agent, defoamer, antifungal agent, pH adjuster and film-forming aid, stirring at 200-300 rpm for 5-10 minutes, obtaining an aqueous emulsion (B), (3) adding the aqueous solution (A) to the aqueous emulsion (B), stirring at 200-300 rpm for 10-20 minutes, adding 0.8-1 pts. wt. thickener, and stirring for 5-10 minutes. The preparation of graphene aqueous acrylate emulsion used in the preparation process of damping paint involves (1) mixing graphene and water in a mass ratio of 5:95 for 0.5-1 hour, emulsifying with high pressure homogenizer until the viscosity exceeds 1000 cps, obtaining a graphene suspension, (2) mixing initiator, crosslinker, emulsifier and deionized water, adding acrylic monomer, stirring at high speed, emulsifying for 10-15 minutes, obtaining a emulsion mixture, (3) adding water to the reaction container, adding 5-20 pts. wt. emulsion mixture into the reaction vessel, stirring under protection of inert gas, warming to 48-55 degrees C, stirring until the system turns blue, adding balance emulsion mixture, stirring for 1-4 hours, adding graphene suspension, stirring and heat preserving for 1-3 hours, and adjusting pH to 7-8 after cooling down.
