NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene fiber mat involves: (1) collecting graphene oxide spinning liquid through wet spinning and drafting to obtain nascent graphene oxide fiber wound on a roller; (2) densifying the nascent graphene oxide fiber by spraying ethanol solution and vacuum drying to prepare graphene oxide fiber film; and (3) immersing the graphene oxide fiber film in a hydroiodic acid solution, placing in an oven for high temperature reduction, and then washing several times and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene fiber mat (claimed) used as electromagnetic shielding patch or as functional filler and reinforcing filler for composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, and provides graphene fiber mat, which has directional electromagnetic shielding performance, can selectively shield electromagnetic radiation in a single direction and pass electromagnetic radiation in other directions for precise filtering and elimination of electromagnetic noise, is lightweight, and has reduced thickness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the graphene fiber felt. When the graphene fiber axis of the graphene fiber mat is consistent with the direction of the electric field component of the polarized electromagnetic field, it has directional electromagnetic shielding.
