NOVELTY - Azobenzene three-dimensional carbon nano-hybrid film comprises azobenzene containing amino group at one end and three-dimensional carbon nanomaterials. The three-dimensional carbon nanomaterial is grafted with azobenzene through covalent bond. USE - The azobenzene three-dimensional carbon nano-hybrid film is useful in the field of solar fuels (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes three-dimensional carbon nano-material, which have excellent dispersibility and large surface area when compared with low-dimensional carbon nano-materials; completely exposes grafting active sites, which improves grafting rate and steric hindrance of azobenzene. The hybrid film: solves the problems of low energy density and short half-life of azobenzene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing azobenzene three-dimensional carbon nano-hybrid film, comprising adding azobenzene diazonium salt solution containing amino group at one end into three-dimensional carbon nano-material dispersion liquid for primary reaction, then performing suction filtration and drying to obtain final product, where the primary reaction specifically comprises reacting in ice bath for 3-6 hours, then heating at room temperature, and reacting for overnight.
