NOVELTY - Carbon-coated nano-silicon-graphene-pyrolyzed carbon layered composite material comprises dispersing spherical particles uniformly in the graphene sheet formed by carbon-coated nano silicon, coating on the surface of the spherical particle pyrolysis carbon layer, where the carbon-coated nano silicon comprises nano-silicon and nano silicon surface coating carbon. USE - The method is useful for preparing carbon-coated nano-silicon-graphene-pyrolyzed carbon layered composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and environmentally friendly. The material has high packing density and low expansion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIM are also included for preparing carbon-coated nano-silicon-graphene-pyrolyzed carbon layered composite material comprising (a) using vapor deposition by gaseous carbon source, to obtain carbon coated nano silicon, (b) taking the obtained carbon coated nano silicon in step (a) and graphite sheet, preparing homogeneous dispersion, drying and pelletizing to obtain spherical particles, where the spherical particles, carbon coated nano silicon uniformly dispersed between the graphene sheets, homogeneous mixture, (c) taking obtained spherical particle and organic carbon source, mixing to obtain homogeneous mixture, and (d) sintering; #a cathode material comprising arbon-coated nano-silicon-graphene-pyrolyzed carbon layered composite material; and# a lithium ion battery comprising cathode material.
