NOVELTY - The synthesis method of polyethylene glycol magnetic graphene oxide involves adding crystalline flake graphite powder to concentrated sulfuric acid, uniformly mixing, stirring the mixture, adding sodium nitrate and potassium permanganate to the mixture and then stirring, adding graphene oxide powder, ferric chloride and sodium polyacrylate to sodium acetate and then stirring, adding a mixed solution of ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol to the mixture and then heating, adding 6-amino-polyethylene glycol and carbodiimide to the mixture and then stirring, and drying. USE - The method is useful for synthesis of polyethylene glycol magnetic graphene oxide (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The synthesis method of polyethylene glycol magnetic graphene oxide involves adding crystalline flake graphite powder to 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, uniformly mixing, mechanically stirring the mixture under ice bath conditions, adding 50-80 wt.% sodium nitrate and 2-4 pts. wt. potassium permanganate to the mixture and then stirring for 30-120 minutes, heating at 30-40 degrees C for 4-5 hours, adding deionized water and hydrogen peroxide to the mixture and then stirring for 1-3 hours, adding 5% hydrochloric acid to the mixture and then washing to obtain a graphene oxide powder, adding graphene oxide powder, ferric chloride and sodium polyacrylate to sodium acetate in a weight ratio of (15-25):(250-300):(700-850):(700-850) and then stirring, adding a mixed solution of ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol in a volume ratio of (1-10):100 to the mixture and then uniformly mixing, heating at 190-210 degrees C for 5-15 hours to obtain a viscous mixture and then centrifuging, washing the mixture using ethanol as a solvent, adding deionized water and 6-amino polyethylene glycol to the mixture and then ultrasonically mixing, adding 3-8 pts. wt. 6-amino-polyethylene glycol and 1-5 pts. wt. carbodiimide to the mixture and then stirring at room temperature for 12-36 hours, centrifugally separating the mixture and then washing using deionized water, and drying.
