NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-fullerene molybdenum disulfide composite lubricating oil additive includes preparing graft-modified graphene oxide; reducing graft modified graphene oxide; preparing inorganic fullerene molybdenum disulfide (IF-MoS2) nanoparticles; preparing polystyrene inorganic fullerene molybdenum disulfide (PS/IF-MoS2) nano composite microspheres and treating; treating graft modified graphene oxide with nitrogen; and adding treated (PS/IF-MoS2) nano composite microspheres into treated graft modified graphene oxide. USE - Method for preparing graphene-fullerene molybdenum disulfide composite lubricating oil additive (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The additive can be long-term, stable dispersion in lubricating oil and do not need to add variety of organic dispersant. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene-fullerene molybdenum disulfide composite lubricating oil additive involves adding graphene oxide powder into dimethylformamide (DMF) and deionized water mixed solution, ultrasonic dispersing, adding lipophilic KH-570 while using magnetic stirring, grafting-modified graphene oxide, repeatedly high-speed centrifuging with ethanol and drying to get graft-modified graphene oxide powder; adding graft-modified graphene oxide powder into deionized water, ultrasonic dispersing and adding hydrazine hydrate reducing agent to get graft-modified graphene suspension; dissolving sodium sulfide and ammonium molybdate in deionized water, titrating using dilute hydrochloric acid to get three molybdenum disulfide precipitate, centrifugal washing, vacuum drying and desulfurizing with hydrogen gas stream to get inorganic fullerene molybdenum disulfide (IF-MoS2) nanoparticles; dissolving sodium lauryl sulfate anionic emulsifiers and OP-10 nonionic emulsifier into deionized water to get first solution , adding IF-MoS2 nanoparticles into styrene monomer, ultrasonic treating to get second solution, adding second solution to first solution, emulsifying, adding inducing agent in ammonium persulfate aqueous solution as third solution to first and second mixed solution, centrifugal settling and vacuum drying to get polystyrene inorganic fullerene molybdenum disulfide (PS/IF-MoS2) nano composite microspheres; immersing PS/IF-MoS2 nano composite microspheres in acetone solution of benzophenone photosensitizer, coating nano composite microsphere surface with layer of photosensitizer, vacuum drying in dark room and removing acetone; purging get graft-modified graphene suspension with nitrogen and removing oxygen in solution; adding treated PS/IF-MoS2 nano composite microspheres in fifth step to treated graft-modified graphene suspension in sixth step, suspension treating, placing in UV light irradiation and induced polymerizing of KH-570 and PS.
