NOVELTY - A solvent-based graphene epoxy zinc-rich primer comprises 10-18 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 15-22 pts. wt. solvent group, 1-3 pts. wt. dispersant, 1-2 pts. wt. leveling agent, 5-10 pts. wt. barium sulfate, 1-2.5 pts. wt. defoaming agent, 6-9 pts. wt. anti-rust pigment, 12-18 pts. wt. mica powder, 2-3 pts. wt. graphene and 4-7 pts. wt. zinc powder, where the solvent group includes dimethylformamide, dioxydimethyl ether acetate, xylene and n-butanol. USE - Solvent-based graphene epoxy zinc-rich primer. ADVANTAGE - The solvent-based graphene epoxy zinc-rich primer is added with graphene, to prevent water and oxygen from corroding metals and improve compactness and strength of paint film, and is capable of reducing proportion of zinc powder to avoid potential safety hazards, avoiding excessive material consumption by the addition of graphene and avoiding disadvantages of easy cracking of the paint film. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the solvent-based graphene epoxy zinc-rich primer, which involves: (a) stirring and mixing epoxy resin and solvent group and adding to paint mixing container; (b) continously stirring the paint mixing container, and adding dispersant, leveling agent, barium sulfate, defoaming agentr, anti-rust pigment and mica powder; (c) stirring the components and grinding to fineness of 40 μm to prepare a paint slurry; (d) adding the paint slurry into second paint mixing container, while continuing to stir, adding graphene and zinc powder and stirring at 3000 rpm for 10-15 minutes; and (e) filtering the paint slurry with 80-110 mesh filter screen.
