NOVELTY - Cathode roller comprises an annular base copper foil formed on the peripheral wall of roll-shaped main body and is electrically connected to the main body. A graphene film is formed on the surface of the copper foil of the base material and replicated with the surface topographic features of the copper foil of the base material. The material of the base copper foil is single crystal copper foil or large crystal domain copper foil, and the number of grain boundaries/square decimeter of the large crystal domain copper foil is less than or equal to 5. USE - The cathode roller is useful in electrolytic copper foil mechanism for preparing electrolytic copper foil (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The cathode roller significantly reduces single crystal copper foil or large crystal domain copper foil obtaining after the subsequent annealing temperature and significantly reduces occurrence of wrinkles even if the thickness of the electrolytic copper foil is less than 25 microm.
