NOVELTY - The metal mechanism (1) has multiple metal portions which are not arranged for conducting an electrical current of which a first portion (2a) comprises a first contact surface (3a) and a second portion (2b) comprises a second contact surface (3b) arranged to move in relation to, and in contact with, the first contact surface. The first and second portions are provided with GRM, at the contact surface in metal-GRM composite. The metal-GRM composite is a steel bulk material (7) of the metal portion. The metal-GRM composite is a coating (5) on a core (4) of the metal portion. The metal-GRM composite is a nickel-GRM coating. The GRM of the metal-GRM composite is any of graphene, graphene oxide, and/or reduced. The metal of the metal-GRM composite comprises copper, nickel, chromium, silver and/or steel, stainless steel, high-strength steel or low carbon steel. USE - Metal mechanism such as drive and actuator for electrical device (claimed) such as switchgear or control gear. ADVANTAGE - The need for lubrication maintenance during the lifetime of the mechanism is reduced or eliminated. The lubrication and lubricating effect is more stable over time and resistant to e.g. high or low temperatures, and dust or other pollutants. The corrosion resistance of the metal portion is improved by the GRM. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for an electrical device.
