NOVELTY - A modified graphene oxide/chitosan composite material is prepared by adding water in soluble disodium edetate, ultrasonic treating to obtain graphene oxide suspension, adding glacial acetic acid to dissolve chitosan solution, ultrasonic stirring, filtering, centrifuging, vacuum drying, milling, and sieving. USE - Method for preparing modified graphene oxide/chitosan composite material for removing heavy metal in waste water (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation, wide raw material source, and low cost.
