NOVELTY - The electronic device has a graphene layer (103) that is formed on substrate (101) which is provided with a step-difference portion (102). A barrier portion (132) of graphene layer is formed in flat portion (131) of recessed portion of step-difference portion. A carrier injection region (133) is formed in flat portion (134) of convex portion of the step-difference portion. The current flowing through the graphene layer is determined from the signal of probe (105) which is contacted to convex and recessed portions of the step-difference portion. USE - Variable resistance electronic device. ADVANTAGE - The performance efficiency of the electronic device can be improved by forming the graphene layer and the current through the graphene layer can be determined with high precision.
