NOVELTY - Preparation of low-viscosity single-layer graphene oxide, involves adding 50-500 pts. wt. 98 %mass concentrated sulfuric acid to 1 pt. wt. natural crystalline flaky graphite, stirring and cooling to 0 degrees C under stirring conditions, adding to 250-10000 pts. wt. 1-3 %mass hydrofluoric acid solution for dilution under stirring conditions, adding 0.5-3 pts. wt. 30 %mass hydrogen peroxide solution to obtain graphite oxide, washing the graphite oxide using 1-3 %mass hydrofluoric acid solution until the content of sulfate ion is 30 ppm or less, to obtain hydrofluoric acid solution of single-layer graphene oxide, decompressing and distilling the product, recycling hydrofluoric acid, and flowing the obtained graphene oxide dispersion through a slit with a width of 5-30 mu m. USE - Preparation of low-viscosity single-layer graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method provides low-viscosity single-layer graphene oxide having a single layer rate of 99.5% or more, a viscosity of 3000 cp or less at a concentration of 15 mg/g, and excellent fluidity.
