NOVELTY - The method for functional modification of graphene oxide, involves ultrasonically dispersing oxidized graphene aqueous solution to obtain graphene clear solution, dripping the modifier in clear solution, stirring and refluxing, controlling the reaction temperature, dripping rate and reflux time to obtain modified graphene oxide solution, centrifuging, filtering and washing the gelatinized product of modified graphene oxide and vacuum drying to obtain modified oxidized graphene powder. USE - Method for functional modification of graphene oxide used for coating, loading and functional compounding with polymer material. ADVANTAGE - The method adopts liquid phase chemical process and enables grafting of functional group onto the surface or edge of the graphene, by functional modification of the graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for functional modification of graphene oxide, involves ultrasonically dispersing and stirring the oxidized graphene aqueous solution to obtain graphene clear solution, dripping the modifier in the oxidized graphene clear solution, stirring and refluxing, controlling the reaction temperature, dripping rate and reflux time to obtain modified graphene oxide solution, centrifuging the modified graphene oxide solution at high speed, filtering to obtain gelatinized product of modified graphene oxide, and washing the gelatinized product of modified graphene oxide and vacuum drying to obtain modified oxidized graphene powder. The modifier is selected from ethylenediamine, hexamethylenediamine, triethanolamine, diethanolamine, N,N-diethylhydroxylamine, N-acetylpiperidine, N-acetylpiperazine, dimethylformamide, isovaleramide, acetamide, ethylene oxide or propylene oxide.
