NOVELTY - Tea saponin modified composite water-reducing agent comprises a polymer for water-reducing agent which is prepared by living radical polymerization, where the raw materials for the polymer comprise tea saponin monomers, acrylic acid and derivative monomers, alkenyl polyether monomers, chain transfer agents, initiators and solvents. USE - Tea saponin modified composite water-reducing agent used in concrete (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The tea saponin modified composite water-reducing agent has high air entrainment and strong foam stabilization performance of the tea saponin molecule, has improved strength and fluidity. The method is simple and cost-effective, has a controllable structure, has excellent flexibility and product performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for preparing the tea saponin modified composite water-reducing agent comprising dissolving the tea saponin monomer, the alkenyl polyether monomer and the initiator in the solvent, stirring and mixing, evacuating, and heating the oil bath to 60-90 degrees C, adding acrylic acid and derivative monomers at a uniform rate, reacting for 1-48 hours under the protection of nitrogen, dripping chain transfer agent, continuously reacting for 0.5-1 hours, cooling in an ice bath to terminate the reaction, and precipitating the polymer, washing the polymer with solvent for three times, after precipitation again, vacuum drying to obtain the target product, alternately, dissolving the alkenyl polyether monomer and the initiator in the solvent, stirring and mixing, evacuating the oil bath and heating up to 60-90 degrees C, adding acrylic acid and derivative monomers dropwise at a uniform speed, adding tea saponin monomers in batches, and reacting for 1-48 hours under nitrogen protection, adding chain transfer agent dropwise, continuously reacting for 0.5-1 hour, cooling in an ice bath to terminate the reaction, and precipitating the polymer, washing the polymer three times with a solvent, and after precipitation, drying in a vacuum to obtain the target product; and (2) a concrete comprising main components including cement, sand, gravel, fly ash, admixtures, and the tea saponin modified composite water-reducing agent.
