NOVELTY - Manufacture of composite electrode involves coating a substrate with a solution containing oxidized graphene and a reducing agent, reducing the oxidized graphene by heating to form a graphene layer, coating a metal nanowire-containing solution on the graphene layer, and forming a fused metal nanowire layer in the graphene layer by heating. USE - Manufacture of composite electrode used for device e.g. display device such as liquid crystal display device, light emitting display device, organic light emitting display device, touch panel, digital paper and photovoltaic device such as solar cell (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacture of composite electrode with improved performance, durability, electrical, thermal and/or mechanical properties, electroconductivity, permeability, and flexibility. The composite electrode exhibits uniform transmittance over the entire surface of the electrode when using the flexible substrate.
